Bartek Pener Świątecki

PLANNED FREESTYLE

The artworks of Bartek Światecki showed at the exhibition Planned Freestyle represent geometrical abstract paintings in which we don´t find clear references or meanings towards nature. The construction of images is based on geometrical groups and angular forms referring to futuristic architectural projects. The paintings are aesthetical color visions exempt from dominance of the subject or context and its influence on final form of the artwork.

Bartek Świątecki, known also as Pener is from 1996 connected with the graffiti and street art creation. He studied painting at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland. These biographical facts show what is characteristic for this artist, the combination of traditional painting techniques with graffiti.

Bartek Pener Świątecki had dozens of solo and group exhibitions in Europe and USA. In Košice he participated on the creation of two mural paintings within the project of the Street Art Communication organization.
