The exhibition project is a series of autobiographical photographs in which the author creates pseudo-documentary memoirs of her private life. An artistic society intertwined with bohemian living and a high lifestyle without a time limit is the chosen form of art language to approach the topics that the author deals with. Self-portraits are the bearers of the ideology of shifting reality, adjusting facts, opacity or disorientation in the field of information manipulation.

Tatiana Takáčová is a photographer living and working in Košice. In 2013 she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava / Department of Photography and New Media. Her works are visually pure – she prefers a “deadpan” aesthetic and a cinematic “director’s” approach.

In her photographic work, she balances between conceptual and staged photography. It is expressed in the forms of still lifes, installations, staged documents, diary entries, in which it deals mainly with psychological and sociological topics, or responds to global problems and phenomena of the present.
