THE STICK

I’m in the woods and I want to be staffage.

The staffage is an insignificant figure animating the image of the landscape. I want to be irrelevant, but I want to liven up a bit and I want to be a painting.

And I want to be a stick. The stick is a dash between me and the forest. I poke the forest with it and don’t get dirty. The forest is not just a pile of trees, the trees are not just a pile of sticks, but I can still embrace the stick and take it home.

And I want to measure proportions. To measure and draw them quasi importantly with a stick. Explaining the drawings to the computer, the computer explaining them to the laser, the laser explaining it to the mass, and you all are cordially invited to see it as images within the exhibition. In Šopa gallery.
