Beata Rojek

I STILL CAN’T SEE THE WHOLE

The works of the Polish visual artist Beata Rojek presented at the exhibition I Still Can’t See the Whole, represent mostly geometric abstract forms that are the result of the natural genesis of the author’s approach in painting. In previous work, she focused on creating a perfect structure for recording motion and capturing a certain energy tension. However, from a certain point onwards, these carefully constructed units began to disintegrate, opening up a new “field” of endless possibilities for the author. Fragments of images in their non-complexity led the author to create a certain trust in the undefined and unclear. The presented images are part of a puzzle whose final image we do not know. The author leaves traces but does not offer a closed story that was present in her early works. She seeks emotions and tensions through pure forms of false evolution, and painting is a great way to do so.
